'Longing' Trailer: Richard Gere & Diane Kruger Star In Savi Gabizon's New Drama

What would you do if you find out you have a son and then learn that your son tragically passed away? That’s the question at the center of “Longing,” a new family drama.

As seen in the trailer, “Longing” tells the story of a man who discovers that he has a son. Unfortunately, the news of his son is quickly followed by news that his son passed away. Now, the man attempts to learn more about his deceased son, as he meets the young man’s best friend, girlfriend… and true love. That’s right, there’s a illicit true love that flips everything on its head.

The film stars Richard Gere, Diane Kruger, and Suzanne Clément. “Longing” is written and directed by Savi Gabizon. The filmmaker previously worked on the original Israeli film “Longing” is based on.
